Deposit (non-refundable)
As a new parent to TLC, when your child is offered a place at TLC, a non-refundable deposit of £500 becomes payable in two installments. The first half of the £500 deposit being £250 is to be paid within 14 days of application. On receipt of the first half of the deposit, you will be able to visit the nursery; after the visit you will have 14 days to either secure the place with payment of the balance of the deposit or request a return of the first half if the place is no longer required
The full deposit is refunded at the end of the year and it is our policy to use the value of the deposit against the last month’s fees provided there are no other outstanding payments due.
For returning parents with a new child the deposit is £250 to confirm the place
For returning children the deposit is £100

Free Early Education for 2 year olds
All eligible 2 year olds can access up to 15 hours of free early education up to 570 hours a year. Children become eligible the term after their second birthday.
Free Early Education for 3 and 4 year olds – FEE3/4 Funding
From the term AFTER your child’s 3rd birthday they will be automatically entitled to government funding towards their nursery fees which is known as “15 hours funding”. We will discount your fees and claim this sum on your behalf from the local authority
In many cases you may be entitled to additional funding of a further “15 hours” entitling you to “30 hours”. If you are entitled, you will need to inform us in advance and provide an eligibility code which you will receive from the local authority plus your National Insurance number. You will need though to enrol your child for a minimum c. 25 hours per week to qualify.
If you are entitled to funding, we will provide either 15 or 30 hours and a reduced fee will apply to your child’s nursery care.
The fees will apply the term after your child turns 3 years old and depending on whether you are eligible for the ‘Additional’ funding of ’30 hours’ or the lower ‘Universal’ funding of ‘15 hours’ will determine which fees will apply to you.
It is important to note that the funding is based on a typical school year of 38 weeks per year only. As TLC is open all year, the value of the funding is ‘stretched’ over approx. 50 weeks.

To be accepted for monthly payment we will request that a Standing Order be set up and a screenshot of the Standing Order forwarded to us.
