TLC Owner and founder – Tracy Lewis
I have been working in childcare for over 10 years and I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made. Before TLC was ‘born’ I was a Family Lawyer for 5 years and would spend my days with parents fighting over their children in the struggle that is divorce. Luckily I now spend my days playing with children instead! We encourage them to have as much fun as they can, and to grow into the best that they can be.
I have 2 adorable boys and 1 girl who have all attended TLC- so it’s been and is both my personal and professional aim to make TLC the best!
In addition to being a Registered Childminder I am also in the process of completing my Level 3 Diploma in Childcare.
TLC childcare is a ‘home away from home’. If you can’t be with your children, we will be the next best thing!
TLC Accounts and Admin- Marc Lewis
My background is in advertising and marketing where I worked for 20 years. Married to Tracy, I work behind the scenes making sure finance, accounts and admin are all in order as well as using my experience of spreadsheets and organisation to help Tracy run the care settings. I may also be seen around with my drill and toolkit to help with any DIY that needs doing.
TLC Nursery Staff
Becky Cohen – Head of Nursery
I’m a mum to 2 boys aged 23 and 15. My eldest son is an RAF cadet as his ambition is to become a pilot. He has been Guard of Honour many times to different members of the Royal family! I’m British born and half Israeli. I speak Hebrew fluently. Before entering the world of little people which I love and obtaining qualifications to be a practitioner I was a model for hair & make up for various brands and magazines and I danced professionally, mainly ballet, whilst working as a supervisor in Selfridges & Co. I have worked as a nursery practitioner now for 3 years and I couldn’t think of a better and more rewarding job! I’m a keen keep fit fanatic and I bring this into TLC to promote the children’s physical development.
I’m a great believer in that ‘children are our future’ so for me to be able to be involved in their first crucial steps of learning and preparing them for their school years is highly rewarding and accomplishing! I hold a Cache level 3, teaching assistant level 3, I’m paediatric first aid trained, I’m trained to recognise severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) and am certified to use an epipen.
