Funded hours
- Funded hours are provided by Local Authority for 38 weeks of the year (not all weeks of year)
- As an all year round nursery, funded hours are ‘stretched’ across the year
Funding by Term – Funding is reviewed and updated each term.
- Eligibility begins the term after a child reaches the qualifying age; the child’s age must be reached by the day before the (local authority) term starts
- Cut-off dates:: Autumn Term: 31 August ‘26, Spring Term: 31 December ‘26, Summer Term: 31 March ‘27
Funding Criteria – Working Families
- 30H funding (and Tax Free Childcare) is where both parents are working minimum 16 hours per week and neither earning more than £100k p.a.

Tax Free Payment Schemes (TFC)
- open to most (subject to the same criteria as for Working parents) is Tax Free Childcare,
- For every 80p you (or someone else) pays in, the government will top up an extra 20p. For more information:
